Step 1:

Add Pebl to Your Home Screen

Welcome to Pebl — we’re so excited you’re here.

Now that you’re on board, let’s make accessing Pebl quick and effortless. Your first step is to add Pebl to your phone’s home screen — just like an app.

Here’s how:

On iPhone (Safari):

  1. Open Pebl Connect in Safari

  2. Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow pointing up)

  3. Scroll down and tap “Add to Home Screen”

  4. Tap “Add” in the top right corner

On Android (Chrome):

  1. Open Pebl Connect in Chrome

  2. Tap the three dots menu in the top right

  3. Tap “Add to Home Screen”

  4. Tap “Add” to confirm

Step 2:

Sign-in to Your Pebl Account

Here’s how:

  1. Open Pebl Connect from your home screen

  2. Enter the email address you signed up with

  3. Check your email inbox for a sign-in code (this usually arrives within a minute or two)

  4. Enter the code into Pebl Connect

  5. Tap “Verify” to continue

Now that Pebl is on your home screen, let’s get you signed in.

This step is quick and secure — you’ll just confirm your identify using your email.

Step 3:

Set Up Your Child’s Profile

Next, let’s set up your child’s profile so Pebl can be tailored to them.

This step is quick and only takes a moment.

Here’s what you’ll add:

  1. Your child’s first name.

  2. A nickname (optional).

  3. Your child’s school email address.

That’s it — nothing else required.

We do not collect any additional personal information.

Step 4:

Add Pebl Partners (Your Circle of Care)

Now it’s time to set up your child’s Pebl Partners — their circle of care.

These are the trusted people you choose who can also receive your child’s daily pebbles and support your child through their Pebl experience. This might include: your spouse, a grandparent, aunt or uncle, therapist, coach, or another trusted adult that you choose.

You are always in control. Only you can add or remove Pebl Partners from the account.

Here’s how to set it up:

  1. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top left corner of your screen.

  2. Select “Add Pebl Partners”.

  3. Enter the person’s name.

  4. Enter their email address.

  5. Tap “Add” to save.

Step 5:

Letting Your Child’s School Team Know

Now that your child’s Pebl account is set up, you may want to let their school team know you are using Pebl Connect so that your child can enter their pebbles during the day.

This includes your child’s teacher, resource teacher, or special education teacher.

Sharing this helps ensure everyone supporting your child is aligned and informed.

You can copy and paste the message below and adjust it as needed to fit your own personal communication style and your relationship with your child’s school team.

Sample Message to School Team:

Hi (Teacher’s Name),

I wanted to let you know that we’ve signed up (Child’s Name) for Pebl Connect. Pebl is a simple tool that helps families have more meaningful conversations about the school day. Students capture quick reminders (“pebbles”) during the day, which are sent to a parent app and used to guide after-school conversations.

There’s no setup or ongoing work required on your end — we’ve taken care of everything. To help make this successful, we have a few small requests:

  • Please allow access to peblconnect.com and peblconnect.app on the school network (your tech team may need to add it to the approved list),
    or

  • Allow (Child’s Name) to use their phone briefly to enter pebbles

  • If possible, include “Enter pebbles and talk with your family” as part of (Child’s Name)’s routine or homework (Google Classroom, Canvas, etc.).

It takes less than two minutes a day, and making space at the end of class or during a reflection period works well.
